Courage Born from Love
Hi, I’m the mom behind Finicky Tots. When my son was diagnosed with autism, I felt completely shattered, scared, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to do next. I spent many nights crying, exhausted from trying to be everything for him and wondering if I was strong enough. What I really needed back then wasn’t more advice or quick fixes. What I needed was kindness. Someone to look me in the eye and say, “You’re not alone. Your child isn’t broken. And you are doing better than you realize.” But honestly, it wasn’t easy. Some days felt like one step forward, two steps back. I had my doubts, my tough moments, and times when I just wanted to give up. But little by little, with every small win and every therapy session, I started to feel stronger. Those moments gave me hope and the push to keep going, even when it was hard. Along the way, I met other moms — tired, worn out, carrying the same heavy load of worry. Their stories touched my heart, and I realized if I could find my way, maybe I could help make the journey easier for them, too. That’s why I created The School of Fincky Tots Autism Centre— a warm, understanding place for children and the moms who love them fiercely but sometimes feel completely drained. A place where kids are met with patience and care, and moms can breathe, be heard, and feel truly understood. If you’re here, know this: you are seen. You are not alone.
